Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 17, 2026
This page explains what cookies and similar local-storage technologies COD Studio (the "Service" at https://codstudio.shop) uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.
What are cookies / local storage
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. Local storage is a similar mechanism that holds slightly larger pieces of data. Both let websites remember things between page loads — like whether you're logged in, what your preferences are, or what items are in an abandoned cart.
Cookies we use on the dashboard (codstudio.shop)
- Session cookie (
sb-*-auth-token) — set by our authentication provider on successful login. Required for the dashboard to recognize you. Expires when you sign out or after 30 days of inactivity. - UI state (local storage keys like
mb_dash_columns_v2) — remember which columns you toggled on/off in tables, which side panels are collapsed, etc. Lives only in your browser.
Cookies / local storage on published landing pages
When you (as a merchant) publish a landing page through the Service, the page automatically includes our analytics tracker (track.js) and any third-party ad pixels you configured (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Snap Pixel). These set the following in your end-customer's browser:
- visitor_id (local storage) — a random UUID we use to attribute a final order back to the first page the visitor landed on. Survives across visits. No personal data; just a random identifier.
- UTM parameters (local storage) — captured from the ad-click URL the first time a visitor arrives. Used to compute which ad / campaign drove the conversion. Cleared after attribution.
- Meta Pixel cookies (
_fbp,_fbc) — set by Meta when their pixel loads, used by Meta to attribute conversions. Subject to Meta's own cookie policy. - TikTok Pixel cookies (
_ttp) — same, for TikTok attribution. - Snap Pixel cookies — same, for Snap attribution.
How to control cookies
- Block all cookies for codstudio.shop: use your browser settings (Privacy → Site Settings). Note: blocking session cookies will prevent you from logging in.
- Opt out of ad-platform pixels site-wide:
- Clear cookies: use your browser's built-in clear-data feature any time.
Updates
If we add new tracking technologies we will update this page. Material changes will be flagged on the dashboard or by email.
